Hands on Art show

What a busy weekend for both Dan and I!! We participated in the Hands on Art show at the community college. Dan painted rain barrels and I made paper and also had a display of tatting, crazy quilting, and a fiber art montage. We had such a good time and met a lot of people! In between my demonstrations I wandered around to see what some of the other activities were and was so impressed by all the different forms of art. I wish I could have made a few different things! My sister Marlene was there also she wrote and illustrated the book I know Where The Freighters Go, so she was showing kids how to draw freighters. I was pretty nervous to start as this was my first event of actually participating and demonstrating but after a couple times I really enjoyed it and had fun talking about what I love doing!
