I can't believe summer is almost over and school starts in a couple days. This year is going to be a milestone year..Kindergarden, and a new school. I'm excited yet anxious, as I'm sure every parent is when they send there little one off to school. We went to her school and met her teacher the other day, and she loved the fact that there are a lot of books and a Peter Pan book with Tinker Bell! In fact she took it and sat right down and made herself comfortable. I'm still glad it's only a half day, I have a feeling I'll be the one wiping tears away on the first day of school.

Wendy, Congrats on this milestone. Those tears will be the first of many shed as your little one continues to grow and experience new things. Cherish these moments and savor them as they happen because our little ones quickly grow into adults and these are but memories.
ReplyDeleteJust a little suggestion that my grandmother did with my little brother and I, in turn, did with my four kids on the first day of school. Take a picture of them as they prepare to leave for school (all prim & proper) and then have them stand in the same place upon their return from school and snap another shot. The before & after shots are treasured memories and will certainly bring a smile to your face. HINT: the after shot looks nothing like the before shot! ;) Enjoy.
