I haven't seen a praying mantis in a couple years....This morning as Claire and I were about to get in the car this beauty was on the hood of the car.. I was thrilled to see one ! I took a stick and let her get on it and moved it to a tree in our yard. She's been there all day. Hope she sticks around. Thats two critters I've seen this year that I haven't seen in awhile..the other was a walking stick while we were camping but my camera doesn't take the best pictures so I don't have a picture of that to show you.
I haven't seen one in a couple myself Wendy, I did see a crysalis today though, and that's a first in a long time. Your praying mantis picture is great!
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen one of those for a few years either - we used to have them all the time. What we have had on the hoods of our cars in the mornings are bees - little sweat bees. Very strange to see.
